We love DIY skincare for a number of reasons and a few are:

  • You can save tons of money by using ingredients you already have at home
  • You know exactly what’s in the skincare so you’re never second-guessing toxic ingredients

  • It’s great for times when you can’t drive to a spa
  • DIY skincare usually has only natural ingredients which is great for your skin

Additional Skin Care Tips

Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Drink Lots of Water

There are so many benefits to hydrated skin. A few of those benefits are increased elasticity, improved detox function, lower inflammation, reduced wrinkle appearance, and so much more! Try drinking a glass of water every time you use some of these DIY skincare ideas.

While this is a huge part of your skincare routine for fall campaign, you should hydrate year around!

Use Skin Care Products in the Morning and at Night

Bacteria builds up on your skin at night and during the day. To prevent breakouts, acne, and other skin problems, wash your face regularly.

Be Gentle when Drying your Face

You’d be surprised to know that wiping your face with a towel can be very harsh. Also, patting your face will increase blood circulation.

Try to Avoid Processed Foods

A diet that is nutrient rich will provide you with extra vitamins and health benefits. Processed foods have been known to cause redness, swelling of the face, and acne.

According to WebMD, processed foods can be some of the worst for acne.

Wear Sunscreen and/or Hats

We always preach that it’s good to get some vitamin D but in this case, we want you to stay protected while in the sun. The sun is great for our skin in very small doses but with extended periods of exposure, the sun can be very damaging. We suggest using an SPF when you go through your morning skincare routine.
